Great home very important!
6 yr old TB mare, 16 HH Chestnut. Proud and True X Semoran
Miss Red is a very sweet mare; she is easy going and has great manners.
She ran as a youngster but was not very successful. She ended up in a field in a way less than perfect situation until her luck turned and she ended up in our barn.
We took plenty of time to restart her, building the right muscles and attitude for the dressage ring. Right now she is working on training/first level and we are planning some little schooling shows. She would be a great match for an adult amateur or jr./young rider that wants to have a fun friend to do lower level dressage and also be able to ride on trails.
SHORT UPDATE JULY 2010
Miss Red is doing great, leading the easy life and mostly trailriding. I am very busy so she would love to find a home with a mom that has time to spend with her.
In the mean time she is enjoying great care and loves her new girlfriend (Dehlia was sold to the Bahamas!)
Even with the little work she is doing she is looking great, keeps up her muscles and her skin and feet in great shape. For a chestnut in FL summer that is quite the accomplishment!
She is super quiet on the trailrides, likes watching the dogs swim in the pond while eating some grass and hand gallops nicely on the sad trails. Come take her for a try someday!!
