Today we are busy resting up after the show weekend…
Wili was a real trooper, didn’t flinch an ear after not being shown for over a year, even though we took him to the windy horse park. In the afternoon the rings were falling over, garbage bags were flapping and horses were running loose, yet, Wili was concentrating on his job in the ring.
Saturday he took the blue ribbon in his First level test 3 clas with 68% and Sunday he took the blue ribbon in his Second level test 3 class with 62.5%!
We couldn’t be happier with his attitude and our scores, and are very excited for the next show :)

Great lesson today, with Wim Foekema. He helped us along towards more collection, helped out with the canter/walk/canter and gave us home work on making his big powerful gaits smaller (while still active) to prepare for upper level movements. He is impressed with both Wili’s talent and work ethic!

Wili has proved to also be an amazing trail horse :)
Today my friend Sami rode him on the trail with us, through the woods, passed the cows, through puddles! We knew he likes to walk after work with the dogs darting around him, but now we know deer, cows and wild pigs also don’t bother him at all,
